Police were left stunned after pulling over one of Britain's worst drivers, who was found to have a staggering 96 points on his licence.
Officers stopped the motorist on Christine Street in Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent, on Boxing Day after it was flagged as being uninsured.
They discovered the 23-year-old Vauxhall Astra driver was already disqualified and had a whopping 96 points to his name.
Staffordshire Police seized the vehicle and reported him for driving without insurance and driving while disqualified.
The man was given a further extension to his driving ban - meaning he is now disqualified until 2027.

Re: What do points make?
Perhaps we need a new punishment for driving while disqualified. How about amputation of the right foot. Any other ideas?

Something tells me that where he lives will have regular 'tourists' passing by.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2024 12:49 pmSomething tells me that's not gonna make much difference.
A traffic cop I knew admitted to being terrible with paperwork. He'd stack it up, do a fortnight's worth in one go. Back in the days of 'producers' rather than everything online at the press of a key.
He noticed, working through a stack, two different people he'd stopped with the same name and address.
A few days later, an unmarked car parked up where the property was just visible. Anyone set of, they were stopped at the end of the estate.
"Routine check, sir, been some burglaries in the area, so we're stopping everyone."
Seven people using the same name & single driving licence!

I think he’s not the rider, I think he’s hired these out and uses the Ibis as a cover. Might be wrong but somethings not right here.
Food delivery was a cover for a while for delivering narcotics around Brighton. Quite clever, no-one thinks a food delivery driver is doing anything untoward, and so isn’t suspicious at a glance.
