Re: Trackdays 24...
If I knew for sure I'd have a bike to ride there, I'd be really tempted to book this!! LOL (Although there's a chance I'll be re-learning to drive buses around then!!)
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!!
Re: Trackdays 24...
After the washout of last year and the R1 dropping a valve hopefully this year will be better.
New engine new year.
Will be doing Pembrey and possibly Anglesey in March.
Portimao in April.
Anglesey with James Whitham in May.
Le Mans in August.
Depending how the dates work out I'll be trying to do every Pembrey date, it's a fantastic track and very grippy in the wet.

Re: Trackdays 24...
I love Portimao. It's great plus it was my first ever track day so sticks in my heart
I've got Mugello booked for August but I might cancel and switch to Jerez in May. I did Mugello in '22 and have never done Jerez. I think it makes sense to swap as I can't fit in both.

I can't compare as I haven't done Mugello (would like to though), Jerez I've been I think 9 times, it's mint.scottyuk wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 6:20 pm I love Portimao. It's great plus it was my first ever track day so sticks in my heart

Re: Trackdays 24...
Only done Pembry once and was a bit underwhelmed, Ty Croes however is brilliant and also grippy in the wet, I need to get back there, I visit the area a fair bit (lived in Llangefni and Bangor) but haven't ridden the circuit for a few years now, will try to get there this year.

Re: Trackdays 24...
Oulton Park today... Left home at 7am in -3
Met up with @Tricky and found space in same garage. Track time delayed until 10am for ice.
Sun came out for the rest of the day and good times were had.
@Tricky new old machine looked pretty tidy tbf and im sure he'll tell you all about it, no forgetting the little red button.
First session was dodgy in places but 2nd time round, all good. The place was packed so quite a few late bookings I reckon.
Anyway, a great day had, no drama's, just happy bike time with like minded folk. I've never been in an un friendly garage. A few pic's....
