Trackday boots.
Thought a pair of TD boots would make me a nice Xmas present. Nothing silly, 150 max. Just something a bit more sporty than my black touring boots. Quite like the RST tractech evo 3 or the Richa blade. Also been looking at second hand Sidi but prefer new.
Any advice or pointers. Cheers.

Me too.
I'm looking at TCX's, the last pair set me back £99. I'm not desperate, I'm guessing after lockdown and in deepest darkest winter the prices will be even lower.

I've had a few pairs of high end TCX and prior to that Oxtar - find them a decent fit and have crashed in them with no damage to my hoofs

My touring boots are Tcx and yes, great quality, great fit, very comfortable but looking at SBS website I'm leaning to the Rst.
Is sizing good Weeksy.?? I generally go up one for bike boots.

Honestly don't know. I'm generally a 44/45 and I believe mine are 45, so I think so.Dodgy knees wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 7:29 pm My touring boots are Tcx and yes, great quality, great fit, very comfortable but looking at SBS website I'm leaning to the Rst.

Me too ...... my Goretex ones i wore at Pembrey are the same ones that went down the road in 2018 and carried on wearing to the present day. Well scuffed on the ankle armour and ripped off the toe slider but still usable. I have a non Goretex pair as well for summer use. Bit pricey in comparison to RST thoughYorick wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 8:23 pm I've always used Alpinstars SMX jobbies.
And I've tested them properly![]()
