Re: SBH Stuff...
Seat covers actually look pretty good, but who do you get people in the back now, it looks like you've covered the seat pull?

They can get in the other side, the lever is in a different place & not covered... altho I've never had anyone in the back seat.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 8:14 am Seat covers actually look pretty good, but who do you get people in the back now, it looks like you've covered the seat pull?

Fitted the new air filter yesterday.. Now keeping an eye on the CEL. If that pops up again, time to pull the MAF for a clean.

Re: SBH Stuff...
Pulled the drivers seat out today to fit the seat cover correctly. Found $0.85. Phaaaarque me, the seat must weigh 100lb. Seat back in, battery connected without any airbag detonations. Managed to get the PAX seat covered sorted in-situ
Polished the Rustoleum off my glasses from last weeks cabinet refinish.
Tool round up later (maybe)

Re: SBH Stuff...
Gave the fuel system the benefit of some Rislone snake oil last time I gassed it up. Actually had a noticeable improvement: easier start, smoother running, better mpg etc & there's no stink of fuel when it fires up. It was the 2 in 1 version of their snake oil. CEL has remained off since I dumped the stuff in the tank & cleared the codes with the scanner doodad.

Last time I gassed it up was around 18th Sept, fuel light came on this morning.. so damn near three months since I filled it & added the snake oil. Guess the next fill up will last me until sometime in February at this rate.
New shocks/struts/springy thingies should be here in a few days.

Re: SBH Stuff...
I guess I'm going to the tire store after the holidays... At least I found it in the garage & not at 90mph on the freeway

Here's what it means to live in the Mojave... The SBH is a '04 Accord with 198,000 miles on the clock.

Re: SBH Stuff...
Swapped the cut front left with the rear to at least give me a fighting chance if it all goes pear shaped before I get to the tire store in a day or two. or four or five.

Re: SBH Stuff...
Swapped out the rear shocks. Had to drop by Horrible Fright to pick up a longer pry-bar. 4-footer got the job done. New tires tomorrow

Re: SBH Stuff...
Brakes have been grinding for a while, I knew the front rotors were already fucked so ignored it for a month or so. Jacked it up yesterday, popped the front left wheel off & mic'd the rotor just for S&G's. Then cleaned up the wheel arch & the wheel, so now I have one spotlessly clean wheel inside & out. New rotors, pads & associated gubbins ordered yesterday. Should be here by the end of the week
