The year that I realised the Gremlinette wasn't a child anymore. Smashed har A Levels and buggered off up to the opposite end of the country.

Anashamedly 'me' photo, and one I've posted before, but covers more than the obvious.

Big year of change. 65, retirement. Then returning part-time!

But through the year has been one* constant, continuity through retirement, the Community First Responder role. Earlier in the year was 'buddy' shifts, out with an experienced responder. Issued with my own phone, kitbag and defib in May. Then starting responding solo. Now typically doing 1 or 2 days a week.

That's me in the Picture , my boy is fine , he was working in the Bahamas last year now he is in America.
Well actually he is home for Christmas which is nice.
