Only issue in the 6 years I've had her is the speedo went fubar. Apparently is a 'thing' the early bikes did. At £600+ to replace it, not a happy chappy.
Bought an Italian unit for a reasonable amount, however euro clocks don't swop over to mph!
So, did a bit of digging and found a broken connector. After a bit of research, eventually found 1 (10 actually) et voila20230512_115419.jpg
Got a 'comfort' ultrasuede seat coming over in Sept, brake hoses to be fitted next week.
I really think I've run out of things to do now!
Brakes have 19mm rcs
Oe mirrors refitted as the barenders were horrible.
RG tape on swing arm to stop heel rub
Custom made 17t front sprocket.

Belly pan? Number plate relocator/tail tidy thing? Rear seat cowl?

Not seen a belly pan I've liked yet, and my engine bars preclude the fitment of most.
Number plate has been relocated, thank you very much
I like the S2 concept cowl, but it would obscure my rear light so..........
However toying with the idea of some combined indicator/brake/tail lights which would allow me to have a cowl.

They're tiny! Stupid seat hump and basically looks and feels like an unfaired sports bike.
In typical Yamaha fashion they've taken a good bike and then vajazzled it and lost their way (fazer 1000)

Even I have certain limits in the taste stakes!

Rode it for the first time in weeks, and more importantly since fitting the new brake lines.
Blimey!!!! Proper 2 finger stuff. Made the mistake of using a handful at 1 stop, and set the abs light a flashing.
Local racer had a go on it as well, reckoned it needed a touch more rebound front and rear, so that's what it got, again, it's amazing what you get used too!
Guessing the oil is thinning up a bit, hence needing more damping.

After a bit of research, discovered 3 models which had lower pillion pegs for my dear old swmbo.
As she has mentioned many times, its the girl that's the jockey, not her!
