Swore continually at my Triumph, broke down for the third time since I've had it.

Survived another round of redundancies of 20% of the workforce. Tomorrow will be interesting as I find out who else has disappeared, already had most of my meetings cancelled.

He had a massive strop when people didn't vote Labour and said he wasn't coming back, iirc.

He'll not be happy about what's happening to St Corbyn.

I recall him saying he was only going to be on Faceache, don’t know why but it may have been to do with his illness.

Even though there are no longer any weans in our house (me excepted) Mrs.Skub still insists I carve a bloody pumpkin or two.

Apple one is great!

Ditto no kids in residence, but Filly has just done the carving and it's now outside for the local kids.

Same as I did on Oct 12th... Bought more underoos. I'm all set now, a total of 20 new un's... 8 on the 12th, 12 today. All rather spiffy looking. Now I can throw out the old ones :)

Used my Joy Division oven gloves for the first time.

Raised a rare smile, but not for long.

The missus surrpised me with a trip over to La Graciosa which is a small island off the north coast of our island. No proper roads and probably only about a hundred cars. Half them were Land Rover Defenders used as taxis and tour buses.

Hopefully I've fixed the weeping head gasket on my Enfield...

...if not the head will have to come off completely and a new MLS gasket fitted.

Baby Dazzle's (3) first bike crash! :D :(

Got a bit of speed up on her balance bike (basically a bike with no pedals) and drove into a wall. Cried for all of 3s then got back on the bike. Proud Dad moment :D

She broke her front wheel, its only got 2 spokes now. Must be a common occurrence though, cause an OEM new one is a fiver.

That reminds me of watching, from a distance some way away, my older spawn learn to ride a bicycle. Got the hang of pedalling before the hang of breaking. Luckily there was a wall for them to stop against.

The balance bike is great....no pedals and a big brightly coloured brake that only does the rear wheel. The handlebars are also very limited in their range of motion.

Had to tell her the brake is the "stop handle", otherwise she thinks she's done something wrong and broken something when you tell her to brake. :D

Being taught to ride my first bike (1977 fsiedx) 'turn the throttle and slowly release the clutch', half way round the car park of the local odeon cinema (north end, portsmouth) shout out ' how do i stop?' :)

18ish years ago my mate Stuart decided he wanted to pass his bike test.

No problem I say. I've got a bike you can have a go on and you won't break if you crash it.

It was a Kawasaki KDX220R.

Needless to say he dropped the clutch while the revs were in the powerband.

He wheelied it into the nearest bush.

I laughed my tits off.
