That's a bit of a radical solution though !
That's where rabbit holes take you.

I made a mess of the rattle can casing paint when I spilled petrol over them,so I had a mate spray them up properly,so they are sealed and fuel proof now. 8-) The 'marks' are just the reflection of the lights.

Pretty sure that garage floor could do with a sweep........

Nice engine cases by the way 😂

One of these days I'll get around to doing something proper with the floor!

A bit.
But less than you'd think.

Office style carpet tiles aren't "loops" of fabric, it's more like short hair (ie it's no lopped over (I dont think)) so it doesn't tend to hold onto stuff like a Persian woollen carpet.

There more like mat's, not like house carpet. I've filed stuff in the vice and either dustpan and brush or vacuum. Not a problem.

I spray glued the first row by the door so wind doesn't lift them, the rest are just in place. When my garage fills with water I can just lift them up and dry them out.

It's a special garage. 🙂👍

The council have found the keys for the gritter lorries,so that's the fun over now for a while. Time to do all those little jobs I've been putting off.

A handy little dolly for moving the H1 about the garage without having to take it on and off the centre stand.

They gritted here last Fri night/Sat morning and I've no idea why cos it wasn't cold enough. Since then it's pissed it down and so the salt would have been washed away but it's either been actually raining or damp. I had hoped to maybe pop out yesterday lunchtime but despite it not rain all the roads were damp locally so not worth it.

Yeah it's handy enough. The H1 isn't easy to get on the mainstand for starters,I roll the front wheel onto a wooden block to help, but I'd say most modern bikes would roll on easier.

The clocks bracket is a bit scruffy and the damping rubbers are getting dozed,so I took it off today and gave it a blast of satin black.
It's nice to do little jobs which have easy access and not the modern bike way of needing to remove loads even to start the job.
