I know it makes me a dirty pervert, but I actually really like the final iteration of the flying brick K1200...

I rode the GT version to the Nürburgring for a Performance Bikes article once. It pissed it down all the way there and back, I've never enjoyed a heated seat so much in my life.Julian_Boolean wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 8:56 pm I work with someone who has that final brick in those colours
We were supposed to be swapping bikes, but neither of us wanted to ride the ZZR.

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
There are various reasons why I think that's the wrong thing to do with a 350LC but mainly because it will handle badly.
The wheelbase has been extended and IME it just ruins it, most people who know how they should handle regret putting an RGV swingarm on because it changes it considerably.
Secondly, it was never a popular mod, men in sheds occasionally did it, but not many because if you wanted that kind of thing you saved up and bought an RGV - which at the time knocked the 350LC into a cocked hat. Initially the RD350LC was the bike to have, but once the YPVS came out and then the TZR and then the RGV, the RD350LC was not a particularly desirable bike, they mostly got sold for peanuts to struggling apprentices/students.
So where I was from, in the early 90's anyone doing that to an LC was frowned upon because it just meant they were using an old bike to try and do something that it wasn't designed for, we all just wanted modern machinery.
I also think it just looks naff.

The single seat and the footrests and bars make me think he can’t get a girlfriend because he’s such a strange shape.
The writing on the seat is a bit wanky.

Love that, deffo my favourite of the crop, but I dislike the gaps in the frame where the airbox/battery etc would have been. I'd go for some infill panels if it was mine.

As Norvins go, that's a nice one IMO- I find most of them hideous
