Car buying sites
I'm wasting my day trying to sell the Vivaro to one of these companies.
So far Motorway have been helpful. They're a broker and really not suited to what I need. Location etc.
Next up, and current, are thecarbuyinggroup.
It's interesting, for a value of interesting, if nothing else.

Re: Car buying sites
The one thing is gives you is you bottom price, and if you’re desperate it could be the only offer you’ll get.
I got a price for the V4 Tuono from we buy an bike and we want you bike ( who I hear is actually Superbike Factory). 3 grand under book from both of them and 3 & 1/2 to 4 under dealer price. It’s was just too much to even consider at those rates

Re: Car buying sites
I've no misconceptions about how much they'll offer me. 'Tis one of those curiosities about living on an island, timing sometimes takes precedence over finance. I could leave it with someone else to sell but then it might need insurance and it's not exactly the sort of vehicle a dealer would sell for me for a percentage. Everyone in the chain has to make a profit otherwise they'd stop. I doubt there's much margin in a sub £5K slightly scruffy minibus.
I've found a replacement that suits and I need to visit family on the big island. Might be the last time I see them and that mawkish melodramatic guff.
Also I bought it as the scabby Transit was dying and this was available. I wasn't convinced at the time I was going to keep it, and it turns out I was right.

Re: Car buying sites
I sold my Versys to Webuyanybike ..it was a simple and painless process ..their first offer was ridiculous so I just clicked no thanks.. 2 days later they rang me and offered a much better price, that when you remove eBay listing and commission fees plus being chipped by potential buyers, was so close to what I would have got anyway that it made sense .
Just don’t accept their first offer ...

Re: Car buying sites
My problem is timing, having to hang about waiting for a better offer isn't something I want to do.
I had a look at reviews for the car buying sites and one of them stated that 97% of buyers didn't get the price they were first offered when the exchange took place. My initial reaction was surprise that 3% did.
