BDK engineering in Norfolk do loads of parts for FZRs, including ram air air boxes, 64bhp is achievable with a race ignition, open exhaust and no air filter, I've no idea what mine is making, but I'd guess at high 50s, it's got no rev limiter and a full race system (no EXUP), an R6 rear shock (don't know what year, but it's got high and low speed compression damping adjustment and was rebuilt and resprung by K-Tech)

I'm just not sure if I can be arsed with all the hassle and expense of racing rather than trackdays, I also know that if I race I'll become ultra competitive about it and it'll take over my life, my desire to win can get a bit intense.

Not wets. No warmers.

For the Proddy class... no engine tuning, original forks, frame and swingarm. Stock shaped body work. OEM wheels. Must have a tail light lens!

You can only change the rear shock and fork springs/spacers.

You can fit an XJ/FJ 600 engine... cos it's the same as the FZ, but they're more readily available.
No tuning on the FZ600’s.......hahahahaha.......local cam specialists have been selling loads of performance cams for FZ600’s and I wonder why 🤣, watch some of the races some of the front running bikes are very fast even with some big riders on them. Great idea though and worth doing

I have watched a few videos on youtube, one of the leaders has a GPS setup linked to his films.

He's hitting over 110mph at Donington.

There's a bloke on FB Marketplace selling No.4 (he's an FB friend of yours Couchie) for £2k.

I've read that the old skool CRMC types think the Post Classics, especially the Junior's are killing classic racing :)
