I can't see it being a tremendous success with this kinda publicity!!It added that the financial issues it had faced on the draw had been resolved and said "there's a great chance that the next draw will be a huge success".

Most of the house ones have it in the T&Cs that if the draw doesn't sell out the winner will be awarded a % of the actual ticket sales.Yorick wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 7:02 pm This is a bit worrying

Re: Online competitions for cars, bikes and tech goodies.
That's actually a nice little village, good train station too, but I think their rent estimation of £2k is a bit optimistic.
That area used to be a pretty busy part of the country, so the links, infrastructure and amenities aren't bad, it's on the Blackpool link so you can get direct trains from there to a lot of places (e.g. York) and it's a 10 minute hop to Preston where you can get a train to anywhere else.
Go there during a normal weekday and you won't meet anyone under 65 though

And the film production teams filling the road with trucks - locals will love that. Spread rumours about particular stars and you'll have loads of fans gawping and getting in the way too

A ghastly bungalow on the edge of Blackpool, in Lancashire?
A dream to some; a nightmare to others.

Blackpool is what it is, it's hardly the west end but you can still see some decent shows there, and they have council estates, but where doesn't.MyLittleStudPony wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2023 8:40 am A ghastly bungalow on the edge of Blackpool, in Lancashire?

There are some tidy little oasis tucked up in mid and west Lancs.
If you had a million quid in your pocket and you moved into that place then you'd be cushty, it's like the land time forgot and the only thing you have to worry about is getting a seat at one of the many cafe fronts because it's rammed with retired people that have made their money and moved there to chill.
