I doubt if I'll change the exhaust, it's plenty quick enough as it is and I don't want a loud bike, though I do think a more free breathing exhaust would make it smoother.

Up to about 720 miles on it now, still enjoying it, I've calmed down a bit on it now and I'm riding it more sensibly, my cruising speed on it has dropped by at least 10mph to something less license loosing.

It's a bit lairy for me but I can see it'd be cool with the bike. But I suspect Moto Speeds is not going to be the best quality leathers there is, but if your happy with that again knock yourself out.

My mate showed me his new BMW M1000R the other week. It has a factory package that brings the whole cost up to 25 bags. On top of this, he's put an aftermarket exhaust on it that looks cheap and nasty. Knowing my mate, it probably cost a fortune and is made of helium-infused platinum alloy for lightness, but it looked fecking awful.

Done over 1000 miles on it now, went up to Hunstanton this morning, Hunstanton was a bit shit, but the ride was nice, used the heated grips for the first time, they're really good, and I think it says something about me when I think heated grips are a lot more useful than a quick shifter

That car park is a lot less busy than when I went last!

I miss heated grips, I was going to get some but involves dremeling the throttle tube and I can't be arsed.

Cheap eBay can and the correct link pipe, it's a bit too loud and needs a shorter bolt

Sunday morning about 09:00, no one at that end of Aldeburgh, the queue for the coffee shop in the High Street was amazing

I'm considering buying a Black Widow slip on can for it, and I know all the brand snobs will scream "nothing looks more council estate than a Black Widow can" but my experience of Black Widow products is that they're well made and do what they say, I don't see the point of paying an extra £200 for a noisy, poorly made can from Italy just because the badge looks nice.

I have a Black Widow can on my SV650,my mates say it sounds great when they're behind it,not to loud just right, but they're not brand snobs.I'm not sure how long it's been on the bike but I've owned it since Feb 2022 & the can's held up well.
If it offends brand snobs then it's a bonus in my world

Find something better and post a link, it's not the money, it's that I don't think there's anything any better for what I want.
I don't want a loud can, just something smaller than the standard, but there's a good chance that the standard will still be on there in a years time, as it works.
