Hamish Macbeth, all 3 series now available on iPlayer!

Post by mangocrazy »

Not Technology or IT, I know, but I'm looking forward to re-acquainting myself with the gentle humour of Hamish Macbeth. One of Robert Carlyle's best roles, I think. He was also excellent in 'Cracker', albeit a very different role.

Begbie for the win. RC makes an excellent psycho.

That has to be his standout role. But his psycho in one episode of Cracker was pretty damn unhinged as well.

Hamish Macbeth is the one that always springs to mind first when his name is mentioned. Never missed an episode. I even went to Plockton to see if it was a nice as it looks in the show. I was not disappointed.

And you didn't pop in for a dram :o

My brother-in-law bought HM's police Land Rover.
A cousin was storing the vehicles locally, awaiting the next series that never happened once RC went all Hollywood.

The LR included permanently applied mud splashes and although great in theory it was the slowest, most unreliable vehicle he'd ever owned..for all of about 1 month.
