Aragon MotoGP 2

Post by Yorick »

After his second place last week, young Marquez just wiped the floor with everybody in FP1.

Hmmm...

Have Honda dropped a bollock signing Pol to replace him

The change with Alex/the bike seems remarkable.

It was noted that he was the only one out these with a soft rear Tyre in which could explain some of it. Also lots of riders working on race set up, there wasn't the usual flurry of fresh tyres in the last 5 minutes.
That said, Takaaki Nakagami was 2nd and Stefan Bradl was 4th, so Honda do seem to have seriously got their shit together.

Quartararo was 17th.....

The Ducati camp is not a happy place.

And I wonder if Miller chose to help Dovi. Or was he told to do it. He was bloody livid ;)

Well if they'd treated Dovi better maybe they wouldn't be.

But on the flip side, can they now smugly say he isn't doing a good enough job so did him.

Mir had a bad day.

Taka did great, I like him. We don't see or hear of him complaining, just gets on with it

Cal did well too

I think it just makes him look like a tit. It's also unprofessional really.

Felt sorry for Nakagami. The title race is still wide whde open but it's looking more and more likely we may see Suzuki as champions!

It's very wrong for me of dislike Nakagami as much as I do because it was his team that were the problem but when we had to deal with him in Losail when he and Nagashima were in the Idemitsu Moto2 team together they were absolute arseholes. Arrogant, evasive, difficult, to the point where they were reported to the IRTA Tech guys on a daily basis. So I'm afraid a small cheer went up in our house when he crashed out. The cheer got louder as Frankie won because he is an absolutely top guy - and his teams for the years that we dealt with him were excellent to deal with as well. Ditto Rins and Mir.

Wondered why Cal suddenly lost pace after a few laps and now he has said he felt something "snap" in his shoulder and backed off but then once adrenalin kicked in for the pain tried to push on again. MRI scan time today to see if there is yet another injury for him to deal with for the last few rounds

A tit riding around living the dream, I like the way he interacts with Gav and hodge.

I don't see him interacting with Hodgson, I see him being a dick to him, time and time again. I know Hodgson laughs it off, but I think that's because he's a bit more professional in that context.

There's plenty of arseholes living the dream, that doesn't make them less arseholes. I think he's a great rider, very much so, but as a person he makes me want to beat him with a large cod.

Yeah I always thought that they are mates. Plus he’s not like that with any of the others.

A large Cod???? Bit floppy. Surly you want something harder, maybe even frozen.
