Fun day out riding FoD with @crust and @Welsh Muffin yesterday. We even bumped into @Taff and had a chat with him for a while :)

It went well until the last 15 mins when on the ride back they Triple teamed me on the Ebikes, attack, attack, attack, it would ease a bit and then just as i was recovering a different Eeber attacked me and i had to go again.... In the end i had to sit up, i just couldn't hold the sustained 16+mph i needed lol.
The riding was prime though, trails running superbly and the Slayer was on fine form, i was riding fairly well too which is always nice.

Nice little 15 miles with the wife round Machynlleth on Friday followed by a day at Dyfi with a mate in very mixed conditions including a booboo on a large slate slab in the wet, good job I wear armour or this nasty scratch would have been much worse (did notice 4 fellas in slings that day, which is a pretty high rate of attrition even for Dyfi).

Cracking commute this afternoon, took 3 mins off my PB and was dressed in full MTB gear and a rucksack so not very aerodynamic.

Trying to hit 'the road gap' at our local spot. Trying to move higher and higher up the hill and stay off the brakes to get further.

Looks like you're going a long way to be fair! No idea how to go further I'm afraid, I usually just try to compress the suspension as much as I can and hope for the best :) Going to be putting that to good use at Twisted on a sneaky day off tomorrow...

I know how to go further... i'm just not sure HOW !!!! the run in I can pick up another 10mph, it's steep enough, so it's more a question of me sucking it up and not trailing the brakes... but doing that.... jeepers..

I know the feeling - there’s a table line at twisted that I’m trying to clear, just can’t bring myself to go fast enough to do it. Think it’s a take brain out and see what happens kind of thing!

12 mile round trip to the farm shop for a meat shop... bag on the back, just cruising on the power of the Eeb !

ImageIMG_20231017_113858 by Steve Weeks, on Flickr

Makes this sort of stuff really easy and as it's a lovely sunny day, also very very enjoyable. I still wouldn't pick an Eeb on a regular basis, but sometimes they make sense.

A rather brisk commute, sitting at work feeling rather broken now.
