Although not explicit, there is some anti-student selection, eg 'professional' only. He's already contacted one or two to explain that he's been working for over two years, so is a growned up.
Probably not worth mentioning his student status and just talking to them or meeting them first. If they like him they probably wouldn't care if he's a student.

My cousin did exactly that, when her own went to uni. Son managed the property, the rent the rest of his buds subbed in more than paid for the mortgage.

But this was a while ago, decent Bristol townhouses are really silly money now.
