What makes of motorcycles haven't been owned by anyone on here?

A friend of mine had a Calthorpe 350 , lovely looking bike , he said i would never see another.
I use to look for one every time i went to a show but never saw one.
He died a few months ago with out leaving a Will , he had about 10 bikes as well, shame.

My step dad stopped one day to help a bloke with a Douglas. This was back in the '50's. Guy had one of the heads off & was grinding in a valve in a lay-by on the A1.

A mate had a highland 1000cc twin supermoto, i blagged a go but I believe the owners all died in a plane crash so not many got made

Folan. The Brother in Law race one in BoT and took it to Daytona for a very brief outing.

There was a Vertimati owner on TRC, did anyone have a VOR?

Judge on VD had a Vertimati (or was it a VOR?). I towed it across Corsica with my MZ when it broke down.

I think it was both Dazzarilla and Zanx on VD that owned VOR's (or Vertimati's) though don't recall it being the same one.

Many years ago I co-owned a Bultaco Sherpa, a Montesa 325 and an Ossa 250 (in bits). Still want another Bultaco, but prices here are high.

More recently (ie the last 15 years) i have owned a field bike Derbi 50cc (no papers and the loudest two stroke ever).

I will also admit to owning a CZ 250 Custom. They were crap new, and no better aged 35 years.

No-one has mentioned Jawa yet... hands up... I bought a 350 for £50 (a week's rent which the previous owner owed the landlady I purchased it from)... did around 40,000 miles on it at almost zero cost bar decent tyres and brake shoes before something went wrong internally.

I owned, paid silly amounts of money on, and wrote a couple of Superbike articles about a Hejira that I had built by Derek Chittenden. It was originally intended for my vertically challenged girlfriend, but as she dumped me just before it was completed, I kept it and basically turned it into a trackday tool. Hejira Racing Developments (HRD) were a mainstay of sound of the singles racing in the 1980/90s and even produced and sold a carbon fibre chassis before Cagiva campaigned one on their GP bikes.

My Hejira had a box section steel frame and swingarm, Astralite wheels, a 350 YPVS motor, a CF seat/subframe and weighed 130 kilos fully fueled and ready to go.

I think I remember seeing that and thinking it was lovely. I had notions of getting an XBR track ready so was reading up on everything relevant. Other stuff including doing a college course got in the way .

I took it to the TT for a couple of years in the early 90s, parked it up and when I came back, couldn't see where it was. It was completely surrounded by people looking at it.
