Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
one thing the Norvin builder is not good at is realising he'd put it up on the internets, he denies hes advertised it and that the motor on its own has cost more that £32K
Despite the fact that its up on a website with all the sellers details and a price of £32K. my son was passing his place in Italy and sasked to see it . he was somewhat elusive. does it really exist.......

I think Horse may be having the same problem as me. For all I’m seeing in the photos, the bottom rail could still be there, behind a plate.Rockburner wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 5:16 pm
I mean where they've been cut away and the mounting plates welded in.
This is (a copy of) a Featherbed frame:
now - compare the the lower parts of the frame rails here :
It's not necessary - it IS possible to get the Rapide engine into the frame without cutting the rails (albeit hard work)
Wouldn’t be that hard to weld the tube back into a mild steel road frame, if anyone thought it was worth the bother.

This bullshitty write-up says the frame has been cut up, if anyone still cares!

Wrong, it’s 55 degrees.47° V-twin
Not something you often hear said.the higher knock resistance of modern fuels
Not to be ridden?while the full set of slicks gives a hint to the machine’s intentions.

Not sure why they felt the need to fit two exhaust systems...weeksy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 8:36 am Wow, they've not started coming down in price yet !!!

Common aesthetic upgrade on these bikes... Not a massive performance gain, but pretty. It looks long and high, apart from that it's nice, I'd fit shorter rwu forks and lower the back end to match, but that's my taste and hardly major changes.

Being 6 foot 1 maybe thats why i subconsciously like it more as i found original LC's very cramped. Its an RGV250 swingarm and GSXR400 USD forks plus one off yokesJulian_Boolean wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 12:12 pmIt looks long and high, apart from that it's nice, I'd fit shorter rwu forks and lower the back end to match, but that's my taste and hardly major changes.

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
Being 5'7" I'm probably the opposite (though riding Enduro bikes I couldn't touch the floor on never bothered me)
Surprised the forks are GSXR400, I had a GK76 and it was a compact low bike (it was also fantastic handling)

This link popped up randomly in my FB feed today, but it's not really a set of random photos..... (but f*ck it, they're worth putting up)
