Had a little discussion with the rear wheel (well the fitting of a rear wheel) for one of the electric scooters today. The company sent a new rear motor for it, so the boss re-spoked the wheel and then I put the inner tube and tyre back on.

When I went to refit it, it didn't sit right. I told him that when he came back and I went off to wash the bikes. He said I'd made a mistake - but when we looked at it, even when he did it 'right' it wasn't properly right!!

I did feel a bit better at that! Still annoyed that I couldn't get it right but I think it's missing a couple of washers, so it's Alexis job tomorrow as I'm off for three days!
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

I've been to my first fitness class in a lot of years, by god I hurt. That's good pain, much better than the pain I got during the 'how to lift safely' session.

Passed my CFR DRV driving assessment.

That's 'community first responder dynamic response vehicle'.

Main consideration was that, in future, I drive well enough that the charity doesn't get complaints ;)

The shadow of the white box on the wall to the right of the bloke appears to be a different angle to the bloke's shadow.

Did they learn nothing from the moon landing hoax filming?

Well done BTW, do the vehicles have telematics fitted?

Also - the view through the car rear windscreen doesn't appear to show what's behind the car.

Don't want to jump to conclusions here but I think it might a 'shop for promotional purposes

It must be very difficult to park one in an urban location and take a photo of it. (Maybe they don't actually have one!).

Plus if you're doing what the chap in the photo appears to be doing, you probably want to get on and do that, not stop for pics.

…and while we’re dealing with such details, the link includes the expression “bridal footpaths”. Are they the ones usually called Lovers’ Lane or similar?

The Internet is dogging, I mean dogged, with such errors.

Got an MOT for the CBR at FWR then came home the longish way via the A2 - saw traffic police doing speed checks with Handheld device (actually looked like pair of Binoculars) in Deptford .

S'funny, but I haven't a cop with a speedgun for years, now they seem to be popping up all over the place?

No idea, but it does look odd. I guess it was to improve the view inside the vehicle, kit bags, etc.

They track our location even when using our own cars.

@Yorick This is me driving, remember. I taught Captain Slow everything he knows. I doubt driver aids will get any use :)

If he's intending to carry the defibrillator in one hand, then swing out the kit bag with his right, he's a lot stronger than I am! The kit bag has an oxygen cylinder in it.
