Hello from sunny Wales! A little bike shop in a little town

Post by ace llani »

Greetings from a new (old) member.

Born and bred in the Wild West Midlands - now living in Llanidloes, Powys - a cracking little town full of character, great roads, great views, on route to the Welsh coast.

www.llanidloes.co.uk

Hoping to make a living from what I love - motorcycles.

Our little shop is www.aceroadandrace.co.uk

Just opened the doors here - I can supply most things via mail order, or collect from the shop.
Also - workshop doing servicing (chain and sprockets, batteries, brakes, fork rebuilds etc.)

Did 10 years racing motocross (schoolboy then AMCA expert), followed by 11 years on the blackstuff, racing 600's, an R1, TZ250, then Ducati Desmo Due.

I'll put some photo's up as they come.

Looking forward to having the craic and being of help where I can

Welcome along man. Hard times to open a new business, hope it all works forya.

I take it the shop website is still under construction? Any of the links throw an error code.

Has the museum still got the 2 headed lamb on display? The museum used to be in a, possibly medieval, half timbered building in the middle of the town.

It's under construction (by me  ) but should be there - I'll check it out.

Hard times, facing a new lockdown, but we can only push on.

Wow - I don't know!
The building on timber stilts in the centre of town?

I could throw a Smartie at that from the shop front door!
