It's from GH, really, really check it over before parting with your money, Gavin Hockey doesn't have a good reputation.

She should worry more about my missing Ex'es and the strange body shaped hills in the garden...

Very good choice. Plush suspension, good fork travel, comfortable seat, DCT with a decent sized engine and electrical goods to rival the local Currys. Just hop on and ride (or is that get a ladder and climb on?). Enjoy in good health with comfortable knees and ankles.

They're not as tall as people think.
The seat is only 25mm higher than the CB1000R and it's narrower.

Re: NBT: I've just bought my forever bike!
Spot on. I really don't have anywhere to go after this if it doesn't work!
Anyway, good news, the loft-of-plenty has given me a TUTORO chain oiler!
The AT has a SW Motech rack on. Does anyone know if top boxes all have the same fitments? The loft-of-plenty has a Yamaha and an unknown make one in and i'd rather use one of those as the sw motech stuff is a bit spendy!

Scrap that. It has a sw motech mounting plate on a rack, so i can just sell that and fit my top box.

It does look very very similar to the Givi mounting for my Trekker top box.

Re: NBT: I've just bought my forever bike!
I think the smaller top box I have is a kappa? Will have a look next week when I get the bike. I only need a small box on there and only on occasions, and as i hate the look of the things it'd be great to simply remove and refit as needed!
Re: NBT: I've just bought my forever bike!
There are 2 types of givi boxes, monokey and monolock. I think that is a monokey which is the better most popular type , the one that the big heavy duty aluminium boxes etc fit to .
I don't like the look of boxes either,I don't think many people do -but they are soooo handy , wouldn't be without one now ,wish I'd bought a bigger one, probably will soon.
Waterproof, great for extra /change of clothes for commuting , picking up shopping, sticking helmet and gloves in when in shops and not having a bag flapping about on back .
Plus ,like I said before, very quick to fit and remove.

Yeah, they are handy. I have to carry gear for work at times and using a backpack isn't soemthing i like to do. A removable topbox will be perfect.matt wrote: ↑Sat Jul 15, 2023 1:32 pm There are 2 types of givi boxes, monokey and monolock.
