I'm quite partial to a BBC Good Food recipe...

Tonight I'm cooking this,

I've never done it before, so I'll let you know

Tomorrow will be this, which I have done before and really like it....

I use BBC Good Food recipes a lot. Sometimes just to confirm another recipe!

But today - want to make some lemon tarts and have excess lemons, so - Lemon Curd it is :D :D

We really enjoyed that meal last night. Mrs said it'd be a good base for a spicy meatball spaggy. So I'll probably do that next, or even adapt it further and make it more veggie.

Doing the chicken biri tonight, which is a fave of ours.

I've never really been a desert maker, but I will give that a go, as that's what I'd usually order in a restaurant for desert.

Make these quite frequently as a starter if we're having friends round for a curry https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/bak ... ajis-raita Also work well as a side with a bit of pan fried sea bass and some rice

It is pretty straightforward recipe and has never failed me.

Bake time is accurate if making in dariole moulds, but you need to turn the temperature down and extend the time if making as a tray bake. Usual clean skewer trick will let you know when fully cooked.

Just cooking the Biri now, I've decided to adapt it tonight, no balti paste, but some chilli flakes, curry powder, curry leaves and garam masala.

Yes I would do that again, I think it would go very well with salmon too.

Made this tonight, bloody lovely!

Made a couple of changes by adding a squeeze of lemon juice and a bit less of the water.

Cacio e pepe is one of those thigns which is bloody simple but really hard to get right. Just as often I end up with glue :D

Deffo one which rewards that "cheffy toss" thing with the frying pan if you can do it, getting all the ingredients to do a neat little backflip over onto themselves.

That must be the most polite way I’ve ever been asked whether I’m a good tosser…

The answer is I didn’t end up with a gluey mess in the pan :D fnarr

The trouble with gnocchi is it is boring!
However , if you fry it until it is crispy, it's lovely!

I didn't eat this last night...I had a Gousto (meal box delivery thing) dish which was essentially the same thing

The dish doesn't sound like much at all in its own right, but I had it with harissa cous cous and a whipped feta sauce.

Crazy delicious, one of the best school night dinners I've had for ages.
