Re: A right now thread
Sitting in the back garden watching the dogs fight over a ball and looking at the Sarf Dahns whilst digesting a BBQ
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"

Re: A right now thread
Was interesting yesterday evening - thunder and lightening but sunshine here!! LOL Ok, that changed later and we did get some rain, but by then the thunder and lightening had moved on quite a way. I do love a thunder stormFelix wrote: Sun Jun 11, 2023 11:56 pm Just been watching a lighting storm what was ace. Some thunder and now its a most welcoming pile pf pissing doon rain![]()

Although it's taken years to remember that lightening is called eclair - sounds more like a pastry than lecktrickery in the sky!!

Sitting drinking çay in the tea garden in Marmaris waiting for M. She's having her hair done (look at her roots!) and I've done a bit of shopping.
When she gets here it'll be lunch then the bus home.

I'm sitting here admiring my organising of the bottles of cooking stuffs - spices, MagicFairyDust and anything else you can thing of (probably!!)
So, now the corner shelf that I really want to get rid of is empty barring a collection of empty jam jars
So tomorrow's job, back under the bed to reorganise all over again to create a box for empty jam jars

Admiring the fact that I've sorted even more stuff. Some stuff that is basically useless (why do I keep this stuff!) in the recycle bag but quite a lot of things in the box for my friend that sells random stuff to fundraise for her son's skiing (GB ski doesn't have a financial programme for their Alpine Skiers
) - today has included two sets of bicycle lights and some googles/glasses.

I'm supposed to be going to work, but I'm sat here looking at torrential rain with thunder and lightening and thinking fook riding in that. Time for another cuppa methinks...

Re: A right now thread
Just taken the wife to work in the car. Bit of rain makes people lose all their common sense. Give yourself a bit more space, double your braking distance, be patient and just take it easy. Some wannabe Max Verstappens out there. Home after deciding to take a different route and it paid off with a quieter drive and far less maniacs on the school run. About to have a pee and then head out to my first interview in 14 years... no pressure as it is up to them to decide if I am the right priest for those churches. At least I know what I can offer and am happy to give that. If I do go there, then I will need to join the local Triumph Motorcycle Club and be their honorary Vicar Biker.... Have a good day all, rain is easing off and lightning has passed on (Kent area that is).
Proverbs 17:9
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.
