I haven’t hit anything larger than a pigeon which I blootered with my head last year, which died and lay on the tank like it was welcome, all caught on camera of course, wee bastard!

I had a pigeon fly out of the hedge and hit me in the helmet when I was 18. My neck muscles were smarting for quite some time after that. :D

Sure it wasn't an Emu? :o
A pheasant is plenty big enough to cause a massive crash if he hit it at full speed!
I've been hit by one, although I was lucky because it hit the fairing before me and I was only doing 60.
I hit one of those big bastard seagulls at a rather high velocity on a GS1000, it broke the headlight and dented the whole back of the clocks.

They are a bird of little brain. I've hit one on two occasions, though not at the same velocity as PW.

Wow! What a cracking Superbike race. MD from a standing start is what finished them, the first 2, maybe 3 laps was all it took. Cracking last lap from Hicky especially with the QS and brake issues but whether it would have made any odds who knows, I think MD would have upped it even more if needed, poor Harrison again getting pipped for second place again.

The lap speed was the final lap.

MD did a 135mph lap from a standing start to begin with.

Fantastic race...MD so quick out the blocks, up to about 20sec lead I think. But jeez, hicky gets quicker as the race goes on. MD did ease off but managed it perfect I think.

It needed a 7th lap. 🙂

I also reckon JM is doing a fantastic job. Top man. 👍

I wonder what MD could do on the final flying lap if he had to, if Hicky was either right there or even leading I think we’d see something incredible.

Really pleased for Wavey (Dave Hewson) too- I have massive respect for anyone who can ride 6 laps around there at race pace, and 120+ mph laps is some going, good on ya Dave! 8-)

I got settled down for the Superstock race at 11.45 & it's delayed due to fog & mist on the mountain...
I'll watch Wavey Davey's upload whilst waiting for the fog & mist to clear
