Punched in the miles yesterday and today. Didn't see any anchors,massive or otherwise.

Did a search for whereabouts I could find a massive anchor, but the nearest to me is a replica of the Titanic’s anchor in the centre of Dudley, and I wasn’t wasting a sunny Sunday riding over there.

So it’s just more photos of the English countryside beneath blue skies and white fluffy clouds.
Maybe it’s my age but I do really enjoy wending my way through roads that feel like they haven’t changed in years, with hardly any traffic, on a bike that sounds, looks and performs like it’s from another age.

Was meant to be sunny today,instead it was quite cool and overcast,but at least it was dry. Banged in a couple of hours good,enjoyable riding.

You passed me on the Highway, I doubt you'll have seen me but I was on my R1200RT two-up. I think I was on the hatchings whilst you were splitting lanes 1 and 2.

I'd been following a food delivery guy on a scooter who was tying a sportsbike in knots all along the highway and passed the tower to the roadworks . Very funny. Thought i'd have a listen to the exhaust in the near empty tunnel... :hmmm:

Just back home after a 5,958 km (3,700 miles) ride to Czechia and back. Only notable rain started as I left Millau yesterday, and lasted for about 90kms. Bright sunshine today.

Even did a bit of off road in Czechia. What a mistake.
