Had a spare hour yesterday, so thought I’d see about fitting the o2 sensor eliminators. Front cylinder connector is readily accessible . Toook me ages to find the rear one as I thought the loom went up under the seat. Eventually found it hidden on the rear frame spar where I couldn’t reach it and had ran out of time by then. Frustrating! I’ll get to it at the weekend now. Thanks Fucati for putting it in such a stupid inaccessible place!! Grrrr!

Sometimes she gets a bit arsed off with my buying of bikes and bits for it etc, but I think shes just given up now. I just get the occasional  when a bike or box arrives! :D I look after her though...

Fitted the o2 sensor eliminators tonight and found they make a lot of difference. Throttle response when opening up is instant and smooth. Massive improvement and very noticeable!! I did pick up a bit of jerkiness at a slight throttle opening on a constant throttle as I filtered through some traffic. I'll know more after riding to work tomorrow on my normal route in traffic. But my initial thoughts are that I'm really pleased with it.

Ordered a Healtech Exhaust Servo Eliminator. I actually like the way the bike is quiet until you open it up, but I'm told the open and closing flap messes with the fuelling, so it goodnight to it! literally a 2 minute connect/disconnect job if I change my mind, or want or need to be a bit stealthy.

By the time you add on all these gizmos, you'll be appraoching the price of a flash/proper set up. :(

Most tuners recommend the exhaust servo eliminator and they map out the o2 sensors on the closed loop. So I'm just prepping it really!

Next month the new owner will be stripping all the gizmos off and doing just that. :D

Can't you just unplug the servo?

Yes but it throws up an EML light. The eliminator prevents this.

Well, disappointing, but understandable reply from Chris at CJS Racing.
"This bike cannot achieve results with a postal flash. I need the bike on my Dyno. No two identical Ducati bikes have the same fuel trims , injector flow rates , cam timing and throttle balance. Making a good tune from one not swap well into the next".
Sadly, its a 350 mile round trip to get there and back and I certainly don't fancy that on a Hypermotard. So, whilst the o2 eliminators and fuel adjuster have really helped, it's still fecking annoying to ride in traffic. I'm still in the honeymoon period with it, and still think its an incredible bike to ride properly. But I don't know how long it'll be before it pisses me off too much to live with? Anyone know of any Ducati tuners in or near Essex?
