Find myself intrigued by the Himalayan. I think it would make a good commuter.

But maybe a left field classic for a bit of fun?

A £5k splurge?
If we are talking Guzzi, this non original big bore tonti framed jobbie is VERY tempting

or this Le Mans. I wonder what will happen to all these auctions that can't be transacted? Ebay is going to be really busy after all this COVID-19. there will be a lot of people trying to liquidate their toys to pay the mortgage. A buyers market for sure!

MkII are around £4.5 to £6.5K each.that one looks pretty tidy so may be closer to £6k. Its also why people buy a MKII and turn it into a MK1. Spend £2k converting ot to a MK1 clone and your still £4k ahead.
And yes mine is a MK1 I get asked all the time.

👍 Cheers and hmmm, maybe there is a LeMans in my near future then....

-The V7 Sport was a poster bike of mine as a kid in the 70s (second only to the MV 750S America at that time), the 1990s 1100 sport has an appeal to me too;- one thing I'm sure of is that I will definitely own at least one Guzzi before I die, and it will be pre-2000- whether I ever own a later one I'm not sure, with Guzzis, to date at least for me it's an admittedly largely superficial love of how they look rather than ride, and although I've not ridden any recent ones, none of the current (ish) models do it for me looks-wise

I did, and I did, and it looks like this:

Lovely thing, but the wrong shape for me.

Back to the OP: There's nothing I fancy on there ATM. The only bike that might tempt me would be a Cagiva Gran Canyon. A Ducati engine in a frame that suits my build.
