I think you get used to things too. I hear folk complain about the seat on my bike and I thought it rather firm myself, yet I punched in about 150 miles on Sunday and my boney arse never said a word.
150 miles ...pah

Ask Adam how his arse felt when we did 800 mile days with him on the KTM 1190 and me on the Multi GT ...... after 500 miles he managed about 75 between arse relief stops on the slab seat of the Orange thing as opposed to the normal 150 miles at a time :D

I'm also of the belief regarding seats that firm is good. The issue with standard Tracer seats is they can push you forward, so occasional backward shuffle is required, but no biggy. Also, seat comfort can be very much down to the individual, maybe depending on peoples arses being different.

A few weeks back my mate had a 900 Tiger on loan, to me the seat felt more uncomfortable than the Tracer, my mate thought the complete opposite. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ha!
I've done 600 plus a day on a sportsbike a few years ago,but 150 is well up on my recent mileage. I did more miles on this bike in 3 weeks than my 10 in 2 years!

So be gentle with me. :P

I'm with ya, i ride my bike plenty, but my days are usually closer to 50 miles. It's not a competition, it's not a 'who's the toughest' it's about enjoyment :)

When I had my Harley I found the seat was arse numbing after about 50 miles. Did some research and bought a Mustang seat for it. Put it on and sat on it expecting my butt to feel like it was being cosseted by ten Angels of butt comforting but no, it felt like a very firm cushion. Was very disappointed until I ride the bike. It just never got uncomfortable!

Its only banter with the bog hopper ....... much the same as the trackday "who's the fastest/slowest/inters winner"
