Mate of mine has been struggling for a couple of years, now got Bell's palsy, but not been well for a while. Usual Doctor 'well you're not getting any younger!'
A locum put 1 +1+1 together and he went for a scan.
Today he goes to see an oncologist to see what can be done!
He makes Noggin look like a lottery winner when it comes to luck :(
Give that doctor a 5% pay rise for his efforts, paid for by the tax payer who won't get a pay rise.
Not UK, French doctors quite well paid.

"See it, say it, sorted" (or "See it, say it, sort it", the announcers don't seem to be able to make up their minds).

National Rail have been using this slogan and annoying passengers, well, at least one passenger, since November 2016*. Time to put this one out to pasture and think up another slogan, preferably something less inane.

'Rule of three' & alliteration [eg Reduce Reuse Recycle]

Young blokes with a moustache.

Is this a post-hipster beard thing or has Movember been rescheduled? I've seen a worrying trend of blokes in their 20's with full-on caterpillars sat upon their top lip. One had wire glasses and looked the double of Ned Flanders. That's not a good look for anybody.

As a nation I think we need to seriously start thinking about putting age limits on facial hair.

The cost of road tax/VEL! My camper is about £340 a year and my car £520. I doubt I'll cover 4k miles between them in a year! Should be a fairer way based on usage as that's where emissions come into play!

That was a big factor in me getting shot of the SLK. Whacking out a monkey on tax alone for a jamjar that did less than 500 miles a year just didn't make sense. I suppose that's why they made it so bloody expensive, mind.

It's worse than that, I tried to direct someone to one of my colleagues by describing said person as "the one who looks like Goose from Top Gun".

Nothing.

The Rangy was probably over £40k new, so attracts an additional premium car tax for the first five years of £360 iirc.

When it's five years old it'll probably only cost £180 a year.

A guy I used to work with loves his old Golfs, he has quite a few of them which are all pretty much the same model. So to get around the high tax costs, when he takes the others out, he just puts the taxed plates on the car he wants to use for that day

You aren't the only one.
They are most annoying when the trains are all up the creek and departure boards are meaningless. When I'm stood between two trains and want to know which one is about to close it's doors the last thing I want to hear is a completely irrelevant public service announcement.

They extended the lease period on cars at work from 12 months to 18...which means I now run over into teh second year of ownership and have to pay this £390 fee.

Outrageous!

Our wildlife pond is coming to life, we have at least 5 newts in it and some frog spawn (that the newts haven’t found so far).
