Later Storms have a larger tank and I used to get 120-130 odd miles out of a tank. I think the lowest I got was about 110 to the light. Think it was a 17 litre tank.

In comparison the GSXS gets 150-170+ miles out of the same tank size. Thirsty beasts the Firestorm.

I remember the NEC show when the Firestorm and the TL1000S were released. I spent a long time checking both bikes out and couldn't find a single way in which the Honda was betterer than the Suzuki, which surprised me I have to say. Nowadays I'd probably lean towards a later Firestorm, as most of the TLs have been either crashed, owned by nutters or are the later emasculated versions.

Then I come to my senses and realise I have a Falco in the garage.
There is no cloud, just somebody else's computer.

Blokey seems to now have it relisted for £1000

I was at a funeral this week and a discussion came up about a Cochem trip and i thought, i really ought to go... But sadly the date they had was a clash with the National Champs, but they've moved their date, however that also clashes with another National race... So either way i couldn't go.

But i do want to give my mate some support this year which will mean coming up with a plan. However, i just am not sure at the moment as it takes up my spare contingency race-fund for the DH stuff with the lad and realistically if i bought it, i'd have to sell it back in the autumn for the latter half of race season and clearly this bloke is having some issues shifting his... So even though it's now a brilliant price, i'm not convinced it really works for me.

That's perfectly attractive... it's as i say, just that the bag of sand is not quite as accessible right now as i would like it to be. Which probably sounds a little ridiculous...but sometimes that's the world. If the dates for Cochem with the lads worked i'd have arguably found it

That was my point, if you really wanted it then the barriers to owning it are low enough that you'd make it work, so perhaps this just isn't the year for a bike.
I'll talk @Couchy into buying it and i'll collect it for him :D
