I’m unsure what you mean, can you elaborate.

Are you deleting a lot of stuff we never see cos if any childish stuff is posted it’s usually from the regulars :flame:

In General I can’t see a single topic to be concerned about.

I also don’t agree with restricting membership. We need more posters not less.

The Red Herring flies tonight.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Anything political outside the arguing forum should be deleted or moved.

Might I ask the motivation behind the suggestion to restrict forum use/ownership and what it would actually mean?

Just don't take my freedom to used the 'C' word.

('Capitalism', obviously. I know some think it's a dirty word, but I kinda like it ;) )

Perhaps one or two should but they won't, but in answer to your question, it's only in the news/politics place as far as I can see, and my view is it should be that (almost) anything goes in there.

I guess you could maybe make that area available only to subscribers, or maybe just self-declared knob-ends only if you would like to limit access? ;)

I still don't understand the motivation behind the suggestion to restrict forum use/ownership and what it would actually mean?

I just went into the bear pit that is current affairs and see what you mean. I rarely venture in there, despite valuing a few people on here opinions, as it always ends up in a ruck. If its not hate speech, just let them get on with it, or are you reacting to reports?

Both threads should have been made in the 'jokes' thread, as someone who identifies as liking guns / shooting and alcohol I'm feeling persecuted and will be writing a stern latter to my local MP, not that the useless windbag will do anything as usual.

Current affairs is an interesting one. Emotions can run high as some have an opinion which becomes very profound in their beliefs and in some cases becomes cult like. The arguments then begin when someone can't even begin to comprehend that someone may have an opinion so different that the other couldn't possibly share it.

I was simply trying to make people think a little mate.

Some don't really see or appreciate what this place means to me (and some others), they don't see the consequences of their actions and the likely longer term aspects of what that may bring..

Without decent content, this place, the posters, the members etc all fade away... i then close the forum and walk off into the sunset. But some just want to post bollox, push agendas, arguments and make this place more and more unwelcome to others.
