That ship left port many years ago at our place. In addition we now have how to pronounce the senders name written phonetically, as well as how they don't expect you to answer out of your working hours.

I had a manager that was keen on the pronoun thing, she frequently mispelled my name. More amusingly she regularly used the feminine version of a colleague's name when emailing him.

IME it's pretty safe to rank meeting importance based on what the sender chooses to call it.

"Meeting" - actually important, should probably attend.
"Workshop" - get the minutes afterwards, unless you're super interested
"Learnfest" - Is it compulsory? Otherwise, nah.

But on the call he's put "(he / him)" after his name, so now I spend half the meeting trying to work out if he's actually a girl and then getting cross that he might just be a halfwit.

Daylight saving when I have regular meetings with people in other time zones, it can cause havoc with one's calendar.
Some went forward a couple of weeks ago, some went forward this weekend, some don't go forward at all and some go back while we go forwards.

As I have a patent distrust of insurance companies, I read their policy documents. I note this clause,

We will not pay any theft claim under section 1 of the policy booklet unless the declared security device fitted or applied to your vehicle, is in working order and has been correctly attached and switched on before the theft happened.

I declared an Almax 19mm chain with Squire SS65CS Stronghold Lock when parked at home. But the policy says they won't pay out unless the chain is fitted whenever its left, or at least hats how I interpret it. I specifically told Bennetts its only fitted when at home as I have a different chain at work and use a disc lock when out. But they tell me whatever the declared device is, it must be fitted or don't declare a device at all. If you upgrade your locks without telling them, you'd still lose out as its not the declared device. I suspect a lot/most of you know this, but just in case, you might want to check your policy.

Well, this gets worse and worse. The insurers won't allow me to replace the security device (almax) with a Abus Granit Sledg 77 disclock, despite it being on their list of approved products, and they wont accept my pragmasisis chain at work and the almax at home. It has to be the almax everywhere. So if I went into town with the bike i'd have the carry the almax etc. So i'll have to sell the pragmasis and buy a 2nd Almax to keep at work. Ho hum. Still I suppose it'll be safer...

Nope, the only exception to them paying out after a theft is;

loss of/or damage to your bike or its contents by theft or attempted theft or an unauthorised
person taking it and riding it if it has been; left unlocked; left with the keys in, on or in the
immediate proximity of the bike; or reasonable precautions have not been taken to protect it
