Eye of the beholder and all that. I'm not a sportsbike person, but I'd rather see that faired as Ducati make good looking sportbikes!!

Chance of winning this is worth a tenner of my money. A bike I'd actually buy anyway potentially.

If I was in the UK I'd have a punt for this one for sure!!Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 10:22 pm Chance of winning this is worth a tenner of my money. A bike I'd actually buy anyway potentially.
I don't think I've ever seen a Ducati I didn't like - until now WTAF?? I am sure I've seen and liked Diavels, but that, I can't love thatTaipan wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 10:43 am One of the bikes on my dream bike list!

A mate of mine had one up here. However much I looked at and from any angle I could it always looked hideous to me.
He fell out big style with the dealer that sold it to him, it wouldn't run right and the dealer kept fobbing him off. Curious behaviour to someone who just lumped out serious money for a new bike.

Re: Online competitions for cars, bikes and tech goodies.
Not sure i'd ever have been interested in a Diavel until I saw one being ridden like it was stolen. The noise! Didn't have a clue what it even was. Finally caught up to it at the lights and saw it was a Ducati. Great road presence and doesn't look or sound like anything else i can think of?! I want one, but have no use for it and it's a bit of a lump for a commuter, so I won't be buying one. However, if I won one...

The sound is amazing. The exhausts are a bit weird, but I generally like fugly bikes, so it's weird at how much I didn't like this one!Taipan wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 12:13 pm Not sure i'd ever have been interested in a Diavel until I saw one being ridden like it was stolen. I do suspect that it's the pillion back thingy (not exactly a back 'rest', is it?!). I mean, that makes it look like it's a big, shouty, tough, muscly bike - that's trying to appeal to Harley riders as well

No no no no no, those stupid wheels won't make it up the dirt track across a campsite. At least there is room for some spares in the van.

Previous draw entries didn't have the VW bus sweetener.

Re: Online competitions for cars, bikes and tech goodies.
Having lived the wrong side of a part-time Cornish ferry it gets irritating quickly, no evenings in town as missing the last ferry means a very expensive cab ride home. That ferry is a £10 return each time you take the car over, you'd probaby have your own boat but relying on that has it's own issues.
Location, location, location. I suspect it is in a raffle because the location makes it unsellable at the price they think it's worth.
