Sometimes I wish I liked coffee, but I'm not really keen on it. I used to like dunking cheese sandwiches in a cup of maxwell house when I was young, or a Cafe Carajillo after a meal when in Spain. But in the main, a proper brew of Yorkshire tea is my drink.

I feel the same about Olives.

Maybe not the dunking bit.

I only drink coffee if I'm out and about and only because nowhere at all can seem to make a decent cup of tea.

There's olives and there's olives. :D Green ones? Meh. Pre-stoned ones of any sort. Meh. Nice black, stone-in Kalamata olives and me? Like feeding grapes to an elephant.

What really BMP is somewhere like Costa where whatever size of tea you ask for (regular, large, XL) they only use one tea bag. What they should be offering is Weak, Weaker still or Absolute Pish.

I've been on the herbal/fruit teas since but have started having coffee again but not to the extent I had been, mid afternoon espresso is nice whilst in the garage pottering about and thinking what to do next.

Before that, I'd have three coffees in the morning easily and drink it all day, could easily do 10 or more a day.
I used to drink tea like that, but gurt big (pint) mugs full!! Thought I'd reduce when I gave up sugar in tea, but nope, got used to the taste and carried on chain drinking it in buckets!!

It's weird here as I don't think most places serve anything like a decent coffee - but maybe that's cos it's for fast turnover/tourist market. And most people drink it by the shot anyway, so probably don't care! Along with most people telling me that tea is better for me, but I'm sure I looked into that and found that tea has as much caffeine as coffee :o Tis why I went on the decaf - although I did stick with Yorkshire tea as it was the best tasting decaf I found!! LOL

I'm teaching myself to drink coffee (in certain places) here, but now also trying to teach myself to drink said coffee without sugar :o :o :o

But I do miss a good cup of tea, but since I got back from rehab in July, I've had about 2 mugs of Yorkshire - it just doesn't taste the same anymore :( :( :(

'Decentred' contact lenses.

Contrary to the playground myth, they can't actually get all the way around to the back of your eye. They'll give it a bloody good try though!

Fell alseep with one in the other day. Wasn't as uncomfortable as I remember in the morning.

And remember kids, 'daily disposable lenses' does not mean you leave them in and wait for them to dissolve....

M&P

Utter useless bumholes, how sodding difficult is it to have stock control
I've been made aware of a stock issue with the battery so there will be a delay of around 4 weeks before we can dispatch sorry. If you're happy to wait then we'll get it to you as soon as it arrives with us. Alternatively, if you'd prefer a refund so you can purchase elsewhere let me know and I'll get that processed for you.

The only things I ever record are during bike racing season. First race of the year, the bastard Sky box throws a fit and didn't record.

This.

Seeing 12.5 on a menu instead of £12.50 is hipster wankerness of the highest order.

This headline:

Body found in field after police tape off area

It's the wrong way round and it annoys me.

The field was taped off after the body was found, not found the body after taping the area off.

The ones I hate are the one that just list the ingredients with no clue as to how they are cooked or combined.

They're not going to give away the recipe plus cooking instructions.

No, but it would be nice to know the basic, like grilled steak and sauteed potatoes, versus boiled beef and mashed spuds.
