I can imagine. I use CC control in the car constantly. Only issue in the car is that it's harder to maintain sometimes as hard to slip around cars etc so I have to adjust the speed more often than I'd like, on a bike I imagine it'd be easier. I'm surprised that more drivers don't use cruise and their cars must have them, I see loads of new cars which vary up and down by 5MPH or so from 70 and it's really annoying as you approach a car doing 65 you overtake and then they match you sometimes up to 75 before dropping back miles once you are passed. All I wanna do is sit in 1 lane at 70 touching the pedals as little as possible.

When I first got CC on a bike I thought I'd never use it, then used it a lot. More than I ever do in cars. One thing I didn't expect was that the CC on the bike was actually more fuel efficient than me over longish distances. I suppose holding a constant speed on a flattish motorway/autoroute is pretty much the perfect scenario though.
Doubt is not a pleasant condition.

My car has adaptive cruise control, so it brakes if you get too close to a car and then resumes the set speed when its clear again. Bloody hate adaptive CC, the VW that wifey drives has it and it drives me potty, always leaving way too large a gap and braking aggressively if I try and tell it otherwise.
I prefer good old fashioned bog basic CC, my civic spends most of its time with it set and running

Mine was like that but you can adjust the sensitivity on it and its much better now I have. I wish it could be dialled in on hers, even with the shortest distance set it leaves more than enough room for a car or 2 to cut in front of you which means its forever pushing you back which makes it useless on the M-way.
And back on topic, I really should get around to fitting CC to the Harley and coding it to the ECU, it's been sat in the garage since Xmas (only 315 sleeps to go)

You can see how far the mirrors stick out snd with them pushed forward I should still have good peripheral vision with the wide angle mirror thing. Does it look stupid? Do I care? No! Not back at work until next week so won’t know for sure if it’s a success…

It always take me a few seconds to figure out what i'm looking at in those convex mirrors, longer than a simple shoulder check would take.

Works pretty good. As things move out of your mirror view they move into the view of this one. So its a really good blind spot mirror and much better than those little ones you stick on your wing mirror.
The rider does obviously obscure what is directly behind them. When you look at the mirror, its like looking at a vlog of a Harley rider filming himself using a GoPro!
Overall I'd say its a success as I would see anyone like a cyclist, or motorbike, trying to push past and I'm glad I got it. However, if I wasn't commuting in Londons traffic and just riding on open roads, i'd probably not bother with one.
