Nothing wrong with being the 2nd best on the planet.
no at all, but those boys have one goal, to be the best, not 2nd.

Well of course, but only one of them can be, that doesn't mean the rest are losers, apart from in a pure term of the word. Anyone who watches MotoGP, WSB etc and thinks that is a bit of an arse in my book. They're putting it on the line week in, week out. To call them losers is massively disrespectful.

I had more wins than seconds. Last corner was shit or bust and I often lost out

I've heard it often and it's just a figure of speech.

no one is saying there losers, there just not as good as (insert name of dominating rider)

Hayden was not a loser, he managed a title against Rossi, he only won one race that year.

Cool, back in that season I remember being on visor down defending him because everyone was slagging him off (guessing they were all Rossi fans)

Seem the opposite now, people slagging off Marc for always winning. It’s not his fault the others can’t beat him, but when they do, it makes it so much more special

Honda paid him to be World Champ. That's what he did.

I also laughed at the blinkered Rossi fans.

That season Hayden was great, the amount of pressure to win a race is one thing, to be world champ another, to beat Rossi to a title another level again. And he did it. He did what not many people thought or wanted to happen.

He also beat Capirossi, Melandri, Pedrosa, Roberts and Stoner :)

Because Hayden stopped them getting there.

I want Mir to win it. I'd love to see Suzuki win a title again as well.

I'd like to see Dovi win it.

He's one of the few riders to take it to Marc, plus it would be well funny to see the Ducati management congratulating him through gritted teeth.

As for the rest of the stuff', to be a world champion you've got to score more points than the rest, so far, he hasn't, therefore this year he isn't the best rider in motogp.
