Car decided at the last minute to turn right around a roundabout from the "slow lane" of a dual carriage way roundabout as he was on the point of carry straight on, no indications, just a last minute swerve. I was coming up on the outside, large handful of brakes (could've been more in hindsight as I didn't trigger the ABS). Smacked his rear drivers side bumper but managed to stay upright. No damage to the bike but his plastic Ago bumper was looking a bit sorry for itself. Stern words of advice offered to driver who revealed they were 6 hrs into a return journey from Cornwall and he was tired!! FFS!
I've seen that scenario so many times. Sometimes drivers seem entirely oblivious to anything but themselves.

Glad you and the bike escaped unscathed.

Did you notice any difference after the CCT was replaced? I hear some saying the engine seemed quieter.

I love the PR6,I'll be sticking with them for a good while.

No idea as I wear some very strong ear plugs but I’ll try a ride without them (in between uncorked exhaust and the “riding like a wuss valve”).

Wrong time of year but get a discount from Triumph.
Only taken it down a cold damp motorway but feels a lot nimbler than my previous 1050 Triple.

Drunken eBay purchase. Not sure how long it'll stay on (probably till the first ticket) but it is a lovely piece of work.

Not at all happy with the state of all the pegs, fasteners and brackets, two winters have not been kind despite ACF50.

Stainless and Ti bolt shopping but where from, any RTTL recommendations?
I've got some Dural aluminium sheet to make some new brackets out of.

Just spoken to a mate and his new to him Aprilia V4 has a nice plastic engine cover which is foam backed, he took it off the other day to find the previous owner has ridden it in salty weather and the foam has absorbed the salty mixture and it was quietly eating away the engine casing!

AR cans are very nice, but loud as fook, especially with the cat gone.

I've bought loads of Ti bolts from this place and always found them good to deal with.

It's in for its 3 year service, probably brake pads and stupid anti rattle clip things that its forever losing and wheels rebalanced (after it shed most of the rear wheel weights after I cleaned the wheel with muc-off MTB degreaser). I wonder how much this'll set me back?

Is this a good time to mention the fuel pump replacement?
