So it's looking like Sept to be the chosen date then... Everyone happy with that ? I can speak to @Alan PBTD and get us a bit of a group going on for booking and see whether we're doing it all on-line again like this year via the private link.

I'm guessing it's camping/hotel ?

It'll be slightly different for us this year as both dates have the lad at school on the Friday, so we won't be down till pretty late on the Fri night. So it'll depend on whether @Welsh Muffin is riding on the Sat as to whether we'll come down Fri at all or do it early Sat morning and get there for lunchtime on Sat... At this stage, we've not really discussed things in depth.

I don't mind either, but there's definitely something to be said for a comfy bed, shower and beer down stairs on tap. ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿ‘

Well as this is the 'discussion' thread.... lets make it that.

Would people prefer camping at track on the Sat night or hotel/curry/beer ?

I've done the hotel thing plenty and more than happy to do it again... Especially after last years monsoon and gale force winds which was almost comical as i thought the tent may take off !!!

I have no idea if I'll have a way of bringing a bike over and TBH, I'd be tempted to fly to Cardiff (if that's an option) and just come and chat/watch for the weekend. So hotel would be handy.

I've never been keen on camping and only really enjoyed it when I had the transit kitted out to kip in once the bike was out!! Tents aren't my favourite thing!! LOL

Sorry I missed the last one, so I very much hope I can bring myself & the Wiltshire mob along to this years extravaganza. Once the date has been confirmed I'll see who's free.

Afternoon All.

Happy with the September date - I'm in France early Sept but will be back to sort everything out. As per last year I'll set up a private payment web link to book /pay but I'll need a current / active E mail address as ''Signing On'' docs will be mailed to you direct.

Please refer to our web site for the latest Terms / Conditions and General Info but as normal I'll look to answer any queries you have on here. At the same time you'll see all the gossip etc on our Facbook site.

Currently on the Hotel situation I'd strongly advise the ''Premier Inn Llanelli Central East Hotel'' and NOT the ''Western'' version near Sandy Park. Although closer to the circuit there have been problems with contractors van's being broken into and tools etc stolen.

There's been some circuit improvements made over the winter months - not the actual track but customers facilities. I'll see them better come March when we start.

In the meantime thanks for supporting us again and look forward to a great couple of days. You never know, I might even join you ''On Track'' this year !

Cheers

Alan

Yep, but with people bringing their food and drink so you don't have to Shop etc. Just providing the BBQ is effort enough

Quick question, I have a Rukka Coriace leather suit. The trousers go over your boots, not inside. I assume this wouldn't pass inspection for a track day?

Rossi rode with legs over the boots.

It's fine matey... long as they cover in a reasonable length. Mrs Weeksy has worn hers 'outside'.

Dainese make 'inside' boots for going inside/underneath.
