Re: New bike(s) day
I agree, once they're in your blood your hooked,I never fell out with bikes, they just dropped down my priority list, other pursuits took over. For over a decade I went from 20000 miles a year to just a couple of hundred miles a year. Now in my middle age motorbikes seem to be taking over again (to old for Mountain bikes,Snowboarding & Rock climbing) .

Engine bars Front engine protection plate hexcan tft securing frame. I have some city lids for the Panniers and a top box in the wrong colour now so I need to get them sprayed, Also will probably add my TomTom sat nav not to fond of the BMW app no speed cameras and the traffic info is not all that good.

You've joined an elite club of those few people riding a bike previously owned by Couchy.
Enjoy!

Never raced nor rallied and because it's a shaftie it's automatically safe from wheelies. Oh wait......

Re: New bike(s) day
What's the advantages of fitting one of these? If to protect from gravel shrapnel, would a fendaextenda be better?

It's a BMW, so a high risk of false shaft osmosis occurring in the factory

My F800 GS was completely clear of false shaft osmosis ..my first bike without shaftiness since the one before my CX500.

Had bad experiences with fender extenders extra strain on the front mudguard, they tends to collect things from country roads, though I would try this instead.
