Hi All
Hi All
Kind of new member here. I was a member back In therevcounter days but have been out of bikes for a while (kids etc). I’ve been through a few bikes over the years, with my most recent being an S1000R which I sold a year ago due to lack of use. I’ve decided to start riding to the train station again (skip the traffic) so just bought a 2000 Honda FireBlade. Not exactly the ‘sensible commuter’ bike, but something hopefully fun and that I won’t be too concerned to leave at the station as it was comparatively cheap.
Looking forward to getting back out on a bike after a year or so off.

Hi Ben.
Q? What do you do with your bike gear at the station? Have they started putting lockers in again? (Don't think mine has but I think there are bicycle lockers so cyclists can put their bike and kit in them, nowt for motorcyclists though).

Back when I had a tracer I had a massive top box that could take my helmet, jacket etc.Count Steer wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 12:13 pm Hi Ben.

These days with no top box, I lock my helmet (an older cheaper helmet) to the bike in an Oxford Lockable helmet bag and also cover the bike up (a bike cover fits in my Kreiga pack)
I’ve got some motorbike ankle boots that look like normal black boots, so just wear those to work and then just wear/carry my jacket on the train.
