Google signatures??

Hello geekygurus

I have a friend trying to put a signature with an image on a gmail account

We've looked it up and the suggested steps aren't possible on a mobile or a tablet

Anyone know how to do this - or do we need to use a computer proper? And if so, is it simple?

(and yes, I have given up on googling this but as I've said before, google ain't my friend )

In your chrome browser on your device go to mail.google.com, it will tell you to upgrade to the app, at this point hit the 3 dots for settings and tick the desktop site option. This will give you a cutdown version. Click on the menu on the left and scroll to bottom and it will show you:
"View Gmail in Mobile | Older Version | Desktop" hit desktop and it will give you an are you sure you want to view in html? type warning. Click yes and then do as you would do on a desktop.
