What are you riding or not ?

Post by Couchy »

Let’s have a recap of what everyone has, I’ve still got a KTM1090 adventure and apparently now an ‘86 VFR750 race bike.

Everyone else ?

Mostly a V Strom 650 and sometimes a Valkyrie. Been trying to breath new life into a beater of a TLR200.

Moto Guzzi Le Mans

Aprilia Tuono

Yamaha DT175MX (on Sorn)

The Le Mans gets ridden the most I guess and does get wet and dirty it also gets "reved to the limit" as the red line is only around 8000rpm with a yellow line before that which I take as the limit. Brought as a none runner 4 years ago.

The Tuono is for easy fast speed, bought new as I wanted a V Twin that would wheely done 40,000 plus miles on it all over the UK and europe.

DT. Had for 25 years belonged to a mate who was killed on another bike. Done an enduro on it, like to ride it in the snow, not that we get much in Essex.

A desk :(

For medical reasons, biking (even bicycles) days are gone. I always said I'd only stop when a Dr told me to - but, as it was, I'd already realised by the time she said so.

The BMW R850RT is still in the garden, will be up for sale soon as 'spares or repair', as it's not turned a wheel for a few years.
Even bland can be a type of character

Not going to list all of them, as not all are fully operational or even in one piece but the ones that are currently road legal and being ridden (in order of how much action they've seen lately ) are KTM 525EXC, KTM790 Duke (soon to be replaced by 890, if it ever arrives), RD350N1 and Kwak H2

Still got the K1200R, just put it back on the road after winter and need to get it MOT'd and taxed soon.
Rockster (my fourth) is currently awaiting a new (2nd hand) rear shock (arrived last week) to be fitted and it'll be roadworthy again.

Hoping to be back riding more regularly soon. :)
