The front stand works ok for most bikes, but I found with mine it was hard to get your body weight over the rear end at the same time as pulling tight on the strap. There's probably a technique, but I didn't use mine enough to perfect it. Should be ok with the Yam,I think my bike carries a lot of weight on the front.
Sadly it isn't. I cant seem to lift the front and pull the strap at the same time. Think I'll have to trolley jack it up then secure it with the strap!
The previous 'front lift' incarnation was better in my opinion - it was simply a 'J' shaped tube with castors, wheel under the sump and push down to lift the bike. Simples but probably not as secure as the current strap arrangement.

Keep meaning to take the GS to them to see if I can find an appropriate fitting kit for it.

Pretty impressive set up for what it costs. I certainly prefer it to being up on front and rear paddock stands. I’ll leave it on there overnight and clean it tomorrow! :o

I finished and was just taking my tools though the door when it pissed down! I was proper chuffed to have got in done snd missed the rain. Then I saw I’d locked the shed but left the lawnmower out! D’oh!

As well as the front lift I also have the uneven ground base. They are about 10 miles from me and got it at the same time as the front lift. My hydraukic bench is too narrow to use the stand, but with the base bolted to it I can get the Tuono up on it. I also have a blue stand which was left over from a bike show in about 2005.
