Yup, unusual.

Much of the stuff then was influenced by US styling, or similar with 'fins' and vertical lights.

Was thinking Volvo myself but the tail lights tended to be upright/portrait so probably not :D

Health and safety Spanish style. They were struggling for ages to free the steel shuttering. I was scared just watching. That fall would have hurt.
