Re: Insignificant/ Significant things that BYP or just wind you up a little
Bought bike insurance in April for the Rockster and the K, so today dug out the (digital) paperwork from DevittDA (The BMW specialist), and it turns out that not only have Axa (the underwriter) listed ''just' the Rockster on the certificate (When Devitt have the K as 'main' bike, and Rockster as 'secondary'), they've also added the Excluding Pillion Passengers endorsement!
I have to specifically request pillion provision every year because the renewal policies always strip it off automatically (along with other clauses, which is another thing that absolutely bmp.)

"Shot and edited on iPhone" would suggest that it is all done on the iPhone. But after showing loads of great shots it says "Additional hardware and software used" So while it may well be shot on iPhone, not necessarily edited on iPhone. It's the additional hardware bit that bugs me really as it's advertising the iPhone with things it can't actually do.

People who reply with pertanent but ultimately disappointing information to an email chain with lots of relevant people cc'd, except they don't 'reply to all' as it's their fuck up and they want to hide the fact. Spineless spunk trumpets the lot of them.

Travel insurance policies. £30 last year, this year they ask the question "Do you take any prescription medication?" and as I take hayfever tablets for 5 months of the year the policy suddenly goes up to £60.

Do you need some particularly wappy treatment? Many HF treatments are available over the counter, including steroid nasal sprays, without prescription.derek badger wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 12:47 pm Travel insurance policies. £30 last year, this year they ask the question "Do you take any prescription medication?" and as I take hayfever tablets for 5 months of the year the policy suddenly goes up to £60.

The latest generation of antihistamines are not available over the counter. The nasal spray and eye drops I occasionally use are, but fexofenadine isn't.Horse wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 2:01 pmDo you need some particularly wappy treatment? Never heard of it. How effect is it, compared to cetirizine and loratadine etc.?derek badger wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 2:37 pmThe latest generation of antihistamines are not available over the counter. The nasal spray and eye drops I occasionally use are, but fexofenadine isn't.

Nothing has been more affective for me since they took terfenadine (Triludan) off the market. I've been taking it for 4rs now and not had to have a steroid injection.Silly Car wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 3:23 pmjHorse wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 3:19 pmNever heard of it. It may be available over the counter here DB. I'll stick my head in the chemist tomorrow and ask them. If it's available I can send you some.derek badger wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 2:37 pm The latest generation of antihistamines are not available over the counter. I almost fell foul of this a while back, they like to use tricks to get you to sign up to the free trial. If you don't know you signed up then you don't know to cancel it. I got so pissed off with having to check every page carefully that I buy from Amazon as a last resort now. It's not even as if it's cheaper or safer than alternatives.1888 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 7:39 pm Amazon was boiling my piss. Just noticed £7.99 came out my account and thought "I never bought anything" It turn out i was signed up for Prime even though i had no Knowledge if this nor asked. Spoke to some overseas guy on chat who said my money will be back in my card within 5 days and after that they can fuck right off and i cancel the bloody lot.

Yes, exactly the same experience here, and like you, we've just shut them down altogether. I didn't like the run around we got on their website trying to close the Prime account......
