Taipan wrote: Tue Jun 21, 2022 11:06 am I found a little pipistrelle bat and took it home. Phoned some sort of national Bat line and they told me Bats have to drop into flight and to put him up high somewhere, which I tried but he couldn't grip anything and just fell. Rang Bat people back and they dispatched Batman who turned up in a Ford Probe which had Batman decals all over it! He took said Bat away and asked if I wanted email updates and I said yes. Bat didn't make it. Interestingly enough, they told me never to handle bats without gloves on as they can carry rabies!
Mad Bat lady came to see our new pet and with an hour or so on the heat pad he perked up and back to chirping away. They never said anything about gloves to the wife either and the lass only had thin latex gloves on herself. She was hinting that i should try again to let it go tonight as its warmer but TBH with two days of no food i never wanted him to die on my watch. It was a he as she sexed him. She took him away to spend the day in a warm bat hospital and someone was going to try and let him go tonight. Shame its a good 30 miles away from his home though :D

He doesn't Hafler smother the hi-fi, he just likes to? :1

That's a caption competition if ever there was one!

What do you mean "I forgot to buy dog food"?
'Biscuit NOW or I eat your face'.

Just what I wanted to see at the end of a walk and about to put them back in my van.
Since then I do the circular walk the other way round so the muddy pond is at the start.

We have introduced a savage beast of a hound into the cat empire. Lottie is my daughters Cockerpoo. She registered her with the vet today and will be looking after her going forward. Exciting time indeed.

No seatbelt?
Joking aside, if you can get them happy in the footwell, they are likely safer in the event of a crash.
I hate seeing cars with dogs hanging out the windows. :(

Look again! He has a short leash attached to his harness that clips into the standard seatbelt buckle :banana-dance:

Thee should be a setting in your camera @Jody for flipping/not flipping a selfie picture. Or there is in my Android. It prevents you looking like you are in a LHD and any background text can be read properly. It may have showing your good side also
