Wait, what are we doing again, is it my turn, I didn't do the last one properly.
How about your bike with a large body of water, preferably the sea, but a largeish lake will do.
Here's some inspiration from my trip to the seaside today. You can almost see some sea. When the tide goes out at Cleggy, it goes out out.
...and who says GS's are common, there's only four of them in a row.

Will this do? My MT-09 and the girlf's Ducati Scrambler, taken last night at Herne Bay looking north west across the Thames Estuary.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 4:54 pm How about your bike with a large body of water, preferably the sea, but a largeish lake will do.
Next one - your bike with a "Twinned with ........" sign.

There are some bizarre 'twinnings'. Coventry has 22 twins apparently. Bristol is twinned with Beira, Mozambique and Puerto Morazan, Nicaragua. Not quite what the cultural or commercial ties are there.Skub wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 4:30 pmHow's that work then?Beancounter wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 4:29 pm Next one - your bike with a "Twinned with ........" sign.

Saint-Quentin in Fronch is twinned with Rotherham.

Poor Saint-Quentin.
I think we're twinned with somewhere quite nice in France. Neat, because there's an 'amis association' that does 'twinning trips' there.

Barnsley is twinned with Horlivka (it says Gorlovka on the sign as you come over the Woodhead, but it's the same place).
Wouldn't want to be there right now (Gorlovka, not Barnsley).

And that's why I rarely look at this thread. There's no dealers and I can't get more than 25 miles from home without getting wet. I feel excluded.

The best twinning sign I've seen is in Glenelg. Twinned with Glenelg, Mars. The Mars one was named Glenelg as the rover went though it and then reversed it's direction to come back so they decided the place should have a palindromic name.

Re: The riding challenge game. Pic of your bike 'somewhere'
Milton Keynes isn't twinned with anywhere, which sorta suprises me (I had to look it up). I'd have thought there'd be some other planned government town somewhere the council will be all over.
On that basis, I'm gonna propose to the council they twin us with the New Administrative Capital

Re: The riding challenge game. Pic of your bike 'somewhere'
I'm struggling with this one. There are loads of towns that are twinned with other places, but they seem very reluctant to stick up a sign saying so.

Re: The riding challenge game. Pic of your bike 'somewhere'
I keep looking at road signs here but the towns close by don't seem to be 'twinned'
