What have you bought for bicycle today?
Re: What have you bought for bicycle today?
Um..
An actual Vitus Escarpe VRX 29er and a set of Sam Hill enduro flats.
Been at least 20 years since I did any serious riding off road normally aspirated.
It arrives around the 20th and I can't wait.
The waif however is not a happy bunny that I spent an "amount" on a push iron when we are saving for a house.
My man maths say that the lack of trackdays this year has paid for this alone but it fell on deaf ears.

I hear that one, without so many things to do i've splashed out this year on 'things' but most have ended up being more for MRs Weeksy than for me at times. So i've got away with it.
How come you went 29er instead of 27.5 ?

It's a very comfortable fit and I like having the adjustment wheel which you don't normally get in full face helmets.weeksy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 9:34 amInteresting you like that, i didn;t get on with it at all when i bought one... Re: What have you bought for bicycle today?
So I've got three I can ride at any time, one other is in the shed which needs to see the carbon repair man if I can be bothered, then I've got my old PRST-1 that I'll never get rid of, then Mrs M has two E-bikes (ones for sale) and her old FS MTB with 26 wheels and her commuter (that she never uses) and I've got a small steel GT SS frame and fork as well....I need a bigger shed!

A Saris Bones doodah to carry the bike to wherever I will be riding it and also taking the missus and kids bike to family trails.
The Vitus arrives tomorrow. Won't lie, I am excited

No particular reason tbh, liked the way they roll but can't say it was a definitive choice. Fancied something very different from my last
