The most isolated lighthouse in the world
Þrídrangaviti Lighthouse, perched atop a rock pillar in the Westman Islands, off the coast of Iceland, sits about forty meters above the raging Atlantic Ocean, was built in 1939.

Its a volcanic plug apparently. If you look at the hill to the left you can see some of the Dartmoor Ponies they put in a few years back. Its not a bad place to stay for a council sink hole.

Is it just me, or would you not be able to see that ligthouse if you're looking from the right in that photo?

Seems like a bit of a fail, so far as lighthouses go.

Read up about the building of the Eddystone lights, the rocks they built on are barely uncovered at low tide.

Bird flue has hit that island hard. Over 50% are wiped out but now when there is an west wind the town dont stink like it did.

The two islands and Berwick law are all related but yes. Lots of Kayaking round the rock.
